Made these buns for the two markets we did on Saturday: Fowlmere and Bassingbourn. First time we have done two in one day and sold out at both. Made these heart decorated ‘Not Cross Buns’ and they didn’t even reach the table before being sold! There were some traditional Hot Cross Buns too as well as our usual range including pesto swirls and spiced apple buns. Will make more Not/Hot Cross Buns for Sandon market this Saturday as well as having some bread rings with Camembert and Reblochon which make a different starter or lunch; the bread is part baked so the cheese is placed in the centre and baked, with the bread for 15 minutes.
