One place left on sourdough course

Sourdough course confirmed for 4 May with only one place left.  Will also  be covering other hydrated doughs such as focaccia and ciabatta.  Call to book a place.


New market: Shepreth

We shall be at Shepreth Farmers Market for the first time 27th April, 10-12.30 with our bread, cheese and chocolate treats:

Come and try our sourdough, pesto swirls and spiced apple and marzipan loaves plus the famous tiffin and bird seed bar!

Sourdough course

Sourdough appears to be flavour or bread of the moment possibly inspired by Paul Hollywood and his excellent Bread series.  It seems to be particularly appealing to men for some reason ladies are welcome to join us on 4th May to learn how to start and keep a culture going and how to handle a sour dough.  You will also learn how to handle other wet or hydrated doughs and turn out some really tasty and classic breads such as focaccia and the really challenging ciabatta.  See ‘Courses’ for more detail and reserve your place soon.
