Back in action!

Two weeks without an oven but now back baking and had a great market at Bassingbourn last Saturday.  Love the new oven: largest domestic oven on the market, no touch sensitive controls just old fashioned knobs and buttons:

Baked a Barra brith/Barmbrack combo for Daughters birthday which went down well.  Have found using self raising flour in the flour paste makes the lettering stand out/up!

Sandon market this Saturday then the big one 22 June: Barkway market, 10-4pm with over 120 stalls.  Just hoping for good weather.  We shall be selling bread and cheese as well as our famous tiffin and birdseed bar.  Hope to see you there.
