Bread making for children?

On the back of our classes and demonstrations we have had several requests for sessions for children.  Probably no more than 3-4 hours, we would teach them how to mix a dough and then make loaves, rolls and maybe some animals depending on age.  We would probably limit numbers to about six and have one or more parents on hand too.  Any takers?

Singing for supper!

Members of the Just Sing! community choir had a a fun evening 4th July learning how to make some unusual breads.  Pesto swirls, spiced apple and marzipan swirls, fougasse and bread shots plus a four strand plait were all on the agenda and the team produced some really impressive loaves.

Barkway market

Despite the almost constant drizzle we had a great time at Barkway market, 22 June and had over a dozen delicious cheeses from the Cheeseplate, Buntingford and a wide selection of bread.  Our love buns and caraway and raisin knot rolls were particularly popular.
